I am a highly accomplished Head Chef, with over 20 years experience at all levels of the kitchen and covering a wide style of cuisine

Over the years from starting at Trust House Forte at a young age of 14 washing up I was accepted at Colchester institute with a year left at school.

I have worked in and around the United Kingdom as well as Gibraltar, Switzerland. Gibraltar was supposed to be a 2 month venture through college over Christmas and New Year however me and a mate did a bunk back to the U.K after completing 25 of our 30 hour shift on the New Years eve (enough was enough so there was a call to my father to get to the airport for a lift home)

Switzerland (Zurich) came up with lots of surprises including finding the restaurant Zunfthaus Zur Schmiden once found it was one of the high lights of my career, where I worked hard and played harder when I had the time of course.

Once back in the U.K I was a set a task by my girlfriend at the time to be a Head Chef in a large public House where I believe I raised to the occasion before moving onto Woolley Grange Hotel in Bradford upon Avon. Once my time at Woolly was up helping an old college lecturer brought reality back so I did some temping work whilst looking for the right job, which I believed I found at Cantley House Hotel.

Since I have been at Cantley I have achieved so much including making my qualifications better and having a larger variety-the last being an St Johns first aid course.

I also have judged competitions for a few of the local schools and also I believe that my brigade and me have been the centre of attention to Wokingham Food festivals for the last 2 years.

Now look-writing a recipe book and giving you the chance to try you're hand at them. Enjoy and most of all have fun.……
